The Bomber baseball team continues to play solid baseball as they head into the second half of the season. On April 26th, the Bombers split a doubleheader against Pine Island, the team chasing them for a Blue Division title. While it would’ve been nice for a sweep against the Panthers, the Bombers were able to maintain their first place position throughout the weekend. That following Thursday, the Bombers took care of the Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars, 6-0. Junior Carter Dombeck, the starting pitcher for the Bombers that evening, was on his game and threw a no-hitter as he went the distance and pitched all 7-innings.

On Monday night, the Bombers took on Lake City and defeated the Tigers 12-3, improving to 9-3 on the year. The Bombers, now ranked 14th in the state, will take on 9th ranked DeLaSalle on Saturday.
